Training

The primary goal of the training courses is to make it easier for new users to get started with DFMA tools.

DFMA® DFA-/ DFM-/ DFS-/ DFE-Training

To achieve this goal, amc developed a DFMA basic training course as well as various DFM, DFS, and DFE on-the-job training courses. The general program of the DFMA basic training course can be viewed on this page.
The on-the-job training is tailored to your company's specific circumstances. Please contact amc to arrange this and to obtain a user name and password so that you can view detailed information under User Login.

Basic training in DFMA

These provide an overview and basic knowledge of DFMA methodology and tools for the preventive optimization of products in terms of cost, quality, and time to market.

Basic training in DFA

Preventive simplification of the product structure, optimization of assembly, and product quality (methodology section for moderation by cost experts). Methodical systematization of optimization work in the project team.

Basic training in DFM with customizing

Cost calculation and optimization of individual parts, their processes, and tooling costs (for developers, controlling/calculation, specialist buyers, technology experts)

Basic training in DFS

Defining service jobs with a reduction in service costs to improve customer satisfaction (for application engineers, service specialists, and customer service representatives)

Basic training in DFE

Here, users learn to analyze possible disposal scenarios. These are then optimized in terms of costs for the company (expenses/material values) and environmental impact (for environmental recycling experts).

Basic program – Training in DFMA

The training lasts 2 days and is conducted with 4 to a maximum of 6 employees.
